A Salon Evening: A Play for Five Voices and a Painted Hall

A Salon Evening – A Play for Five Voices and a Painted Hall is a semi-staged reading of monologues telling the stories, reverently and irreverently, of some of the men and women whose faces gaze down at us in the magnificent Painted Hall.

These monologues are written especially for this event by the West End playwright, screenwriter and 18th-century specialist Ian Kelly and will be performed in the Painted Hall by guest artists, including Jane Asher, Hugh Bonneville and Robert Bathhurst.

Arrival and welcome drinks at 7:00pm and the readings start at 7:30pm in the Painted Hall followed by an after-party with pay bar until 10:00pm.
