Come and find out more about apprenticeships opportunities in Thamesmead.

This is the perfect opportunity to have all your questions about apprenticeships answered, and to discover opportunities currently available in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Come along to hear presentations, listen to inspiring apprentices' stories and take part in a market stall fair where you will be able to meet and network with lots of exciting employers and training providers offering tips and advice to help you on your career journey. 

Our visitor economy is recovering well and is bringing huge opportunities for local people and communities. Before the pandemic there were 750,000 people employed in our sector in London, however thousands of these people have left our sector and the UK due Covid-19 and Brexit. As we recover, local employers are looking to hire locally at a scale not seen in recent times.

If you’re aged 14–25 and curious about apprenticeships, join us in Thamesmead to discover what your next steps could look like.

Attend the Thamesmead Apprenticeship Showcase at The Nest Library in Thamesmead on Wednesday 18th February, 1pm to 4pm. Discover how apprenticeships can offer the chance to gain valuable skills and higher earning potential.

• Join short sessions that explain how apprenticeships work

This is a drop-in event. You’re welcome to arrive anytime between 1pm to 4pm. We recommend coming earlier if you can, as it may be busier later on.

Food will be available on the day.

There will be opportunities to talk to Lovell Construction, YouthBuild, Greenwich University, London South East Colleges (LSEC) and several other employers.
