About

Greenwich Tourist Information will be operating on reduced hours over the Christmas Period.

Opening from 11:00am to 4:00pm from Monday, 18th December to Saturday, 23rd December.

Fully closed from Sunday, 24th December 2023 to Thursday, 4th January 2024.

You'll find Greenwich Tourist Information inside the Visitor Centre, on site at the Old Royal Naval College, next to Greenwich Pier and beside the unmistakable sight of Cutty Sark. Head inside for information and advice about what things to see and the best places to go in Greenwich, London and across the UK.

We sell tickets to all the major attractions and you can pick up a visitor map & guide. We provide a left luggage service, bureau de change and you can get online with our free Wi-Fi. There's also a wide range of walking and cycling guides plus a selection of local newspapers and magazines.

We provide up-to-date information about disabled access accommodation.

Get your essential guide to Greenwich including maps, what’s on, attractions, shopping, eat & drink, travel information, offers and more! You can pick one up at the Tourist Information desk or order one straight to your door online here. Alternatively, you can download it here.

Tickets
Buy Oyster cards for travel on tubes, buses, trains, Uber Boat by Thames Clippers and the Docklands Light Railway and tickets for Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, Thames River Services & City Cruises boat services, plus coach tickets for National Express and Eurolines.

Get tickets to some of London’s major visitor attractions including Madame Tussauds, the Tower of London, the London Eye and London bus tours as well as tickets for West End theatres.

You can buy tickets for Guided walks around Greenwich that leave the Visitor Centre  with Greenwich Tour Guides.  There are also half and full day walks with Greenwich Royal Tours.

Left Luggage
There’s a left luggage facility at the Tourist Information desk. It costs £5.00 per item for up to 3 hours, £8.00 per item for up to 24 hours and £10.00 per item for each additional 24 hours period. Luggage is accessible during opening hours only.

Bureau de Change
Change your money from Euros or US Dollars to Sterling without having to queue at the bank or post office.  Ask the staff at our information desk for all the details.

Free Wi-Fi
At Greenwich Tourist Information Centre we offer free WiFi. Just ask at the desk for login details.
