The fastest way to get to Greenwich

Opened by the Queen in 1987, Docklands Light Railway (DLR) is one of the world’s most advanced automatic train control systems and one of the most exciting ways to get to Greenwich.

A trip on the DLR is always an event. Travelling quietly and speedily along elevated tracks, you can enjoy the unfolding city vistas of east and south-east London through the trains’ big windows. You can even sit at the front and pretend to drive the train!

The DLR is also fully accessible. All DLR stations have lifts and all the trains have wheelchair and pushchair areas.
