About
Step into a meadow of creativity with this joyful flower crown workshop, perfect for both adults and children. Using real dried and preserved flowers grown and gathered on the family farm in Suffolk, you'll craft your own whimsical crown to take home and treasure.
In this beginner-friendly session, you'll learn how to build a wire base, secure it with floral tape, and layer a curated mix of seasonal blooms, soft grasses, and foliage. From tiny daisies to vibrant pops of colour, each botanical element is chosen to reflect the untamed beauty of the English countryside.
You'll be guided through tips on colour pairing, styling, and achieving a balanced, natural flow. Whether you want your crown to be bold and wild or soft and delicate, the end result is completely your own.
This session is ideal for anyone who loves nature, creativity, and hands-on making. All tools and materials are provided. Suitable for ages 5+. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults don't need to purchase a ticket unless making their own crown—though we promise, once you see the flowers, you'll want to join in too!
This workshop is part of Thames-Side Studios Open Studios—a brilliant riverside day out with open studios, artist talks, handmade goods, and family-friendly creative workshops.
* Suitable for ages + and Adults
