Come along to the Woodlands Farm for some fun summer activities!

Programme: 

Pond Dipping (31st July and 5th August) 
Come and find out what animals live beneath the surface of the Woodlands Farm's pond. You will be provided with nets and trays to explore. Will you find a tadpole or a water boatman?
Booking is essential, to book visit: Woodlands Farm Trust
* Suitable for ages 3 and above

Teddy Bear's Picnic (6th August) 
Come along and bring your picnic and teddy to enjoy a picnic out in the fields. The tractor and trailer will take you out to the fields where you can enjoy your picnic. There will be story reading, songs and an activity out in the fields with the Woodlands Farm Team.
* No need to book, just drop in.

Plants to Plate (12th August) 
Come and join the Woodlands Farm and Sitopia Farm and learn about where the food comes from and identifying the different food that is being grown the Farms. Try planting some seeds before heading off to Sitopia Farm, and making your own herbal tea, or explore one of the growing areas and gardens at Woodlands Farm. Lots to discover for the whole family.

Brilliant Bees (19th August) 
Come and discover all about bees at Woodlands Farm. Enjoy some honey tasting with their own honey produced on the farm and discover what is involved in bee keeping. Then make a bee craft and find out about the different wild bees which also live on the farm. You will definitely be buzzing after today, with lots to discover for the whole family.

Farmer for a Day (20th August) 
Ever fancied seeing what it is like to be a farmer? Join the Woodlands Farm and have a go at feeding and weighing the animals as well as walking the fields to check all the animals.

* This event is only suitable for children over 8 years. All children must come wearing either sturdy trainers or wellies, no sandals allowed.
