There is also a rose and flower garden, making it a lovely place to sit and relax.

Avery Hill offers an extensive area of open park space, making it an ideal space for outdoor sports and exercise. It's well eqiupped as well with a floodlit multi-use games area, with football and cricket facilities available for club hire. There's even an outdoor gym and outdoor table tennis tables funded by the English Table Tennis Association, installed as part of the Royal Borough of Greenwich's Olympic legacy.
