This Beginner’s Resin River Course opens the door to the world of resin rivers, set against live edge or waney edge wood

About

Discover the art of epoxy resin in this hands-on Beginners Epoxy Resin Course at The River Shop. Perfect for beginners, this workshop introduces you to creating beautiful resin river designs using wood and coloured epoxy resin.

During this 2.5-hour session, you'll learn essential techniques for preparing timber and moulds, mixing resin, selecting pigments, and pouring your own unique live-edge river design. With guidance from our experienced instructor, you'll gain practical skills, understand the curing process, and learn how to troubleshoot common challenges, such as air bubbles and colour consistency.

All essential materials, including epoxy resin, pigments, and timber, are provided. No previous experience is required, and you'll receive full support throughout the workshop.

Whether you want to create a beautiful piece for your home or explore future projects such as river tables, live-edge artwork, furniture, and resin coatings, this course is the perfect starting point.

Please note: Epoxy resin takes approximately seven days to cure fully, so you cannot take your piece home on the day. Arrange collection or postage, or return for our Part 2 Resin Finishing Course to finish your creation.

Ready to get creative? Book your place today and discover the satisfaction of creating your own unique resin artwork with expert guidance.
