Activities


1. Roam Eltham Palace and Gardens on the hunt for the clues and challenges of their Easter Adventure Quest. Happening daily, 11am-5pm from 1-16 April.


2. Family-friendly Easter fun won’t stop at the Old Royal Naval College. From 1-16 April there’s the Great Easter Trail, Skittle Bunny Challenge, storytelling, history workshops, a street-food market and more!


3. The IFS Cloud Cable Car is rising to the Easter spirit! Their Easter Eggstravaganza seasonal specials include fast-tracked entry to a private, 360° private car complete with Easter chocolates and an enthralling egg hunt.


4. Cutty Sark's family-friendly programme, Drawn Together, is an Easter must! There’s Family Fun Weekend, historical character encounters, and chances to design Fantastic Figureheads or imagine London in the Year 3000.


5. The O2 presents London’s newest sensation for thrill-seekers: iFLY London Indoor Skydiving. Adrenaline junkies can experience an hour of flight and free-fall – all indoors and parachute free!


6. Meet the Easter Bunny himself as he hops by Greenwich Market this Sunday 9 April. He’ll be handing out goodies and there will be fab Easter face painting too!

7. Holiday Fun Friday x Woolwich Lates is back with an Easter special! Enjoy a free day out for all the family on Friday 14 April in General Gordon Square, Woolwich, with arts, crafts and activities from 10am until 8pm. Be sure not to miss some exciting fire performances and African drumming workshops.


Entertainment

8. Greenwich Theatre is ramping up its family-friendly productions for the Easter weekend: catch Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Little Mermaid, or why not both?

9. Planetarium Shows at the Royal Observatory are guaranteed to keep astronomers young and old enthralled this Easter.

10. Easter holidays are the time for free encounters with the sheep, goats, pigs, ducks, ponies and small petting animals of Charlton’s Maryon Wilson Animal Park.


Food & Drink
 

11. Easter is the perfect time to kick back and enjoy Greenwich’s year-round afternoon tea options, including Admiral’s Tea at the Old Royal Naval College, on board City Cruises and a luxurious Easter Afternoon Tea at the Meridian Lounge at the InterContinental London – The O2.

12. Easter isn’t just about chocolate eggs for the kids – Dark Sugars has two Greenwich outlets: their flagship store and an out-of-this-world ice cream shop, ideal for chocolate connosieurs.

13. Spring’s sun invites walking the Thames Path. Find en-route refreshment at the historic Trafalgar Tavern and Cutty Sark, or newer pubs like The Sail Loft, The Oystercatcher and Enderby House.


14. Celebrate Easter the traditional way with a Sunday roast carvery and all the trimmings plus Easter egg treats for the little ones at Market Brasserie at the InterContinental London – The O2.
