About

The Sky Is Filled With Thunder is a sound installation about home, migration, family histories, hope, anger, fear and joy. Experienced in a playground in Thamesmead at dusk, and featuring the voices of local children in a multi layered soundscape, it’s a celebration of children in all their emotional complexity; with all their wild dreams and uncertain futures.  A celebration of their individuality, their voices, and what they have to say.

It celebrates children in all their emotional complexity, with all their wild dreams and uncertain futures. They have something to tell us. They want – they need – to be heard.

Duration: 60 minutes
