About

A work-in-progress showing of this follow-up to the acclaimed David Bowie homage From Ibiza to the Norfolk Broads.
One man. A hundred voices. A journey into the heart of a city built on dreams.

Martin has never left his small town. He runs a struggling record shop and lives a quiet life surrounded by music, memories and the ghosts of the past.

Then, one day, he does something completely out of character.

He buys a ticket to Los Angeles.

What follows is a funny, moving and unpredictable journey through the city of dreams — from neon-lit streets and hidden corners to the legendary Chateau Marmont, a place where stories of fame, reinvention and collapse have unfolded for almost a century.

Blending storytelling, character, physical theatre and music, The Passenger is a raw and intimate exploration of connection, loss and the search for something more. It is a story about the people who shape us, the places we come from, and the courage it takes to step into the unknown. A theatrical road movie featuring a soundtrack from the post-punk era to the present day – including The Ramones, Lana Del Rey and the Mamas and the Papas, The Passenger is a noir-tinged journey through memory and imagination, asking what happens when we finally stop running from ourselves.
