The MixTape Poetry Festival brings together London's burgeoning open mic and spoken word poetry communities in an embrace of music, food, fun, dance, workshops and creativity.
MTPF likes to encourage new voices and artists including in music, and we love to platform independent presses and stall-holders of creative enterprise or thoughtfulness - but especially food! With the happening resident DJ Mike Funk seeing us through the day, soak up the warm and supportive atmosphere. Whether you're on a day out with the family, chilling with the vibes, are just curious or you want to have a go at what's on offer, the festival tries to have something for everyone as everyone is welcome.
This festival is not just for poets, but all of us. Poetry is people!
