A new theatrical experience set in the never-before-opened attic rooms at the top of the historic Admiral’s House

On Monday, 31st October join Old Royal Naval College for an extra-special spooky experience on Halloween. Prior to a thrilling theatrical experience in the attic rooms of Admiral’s House, hear gory stories from the history of the Old Royal Naval College in some of the hidden areas of the site after dark. This exclusive evening includes access to areas of the site rarely open to the public.

Tickets price includes a 30-minute guided tour, a rum cocktail from the Scuttlebutt Bar in the historic Admiral’s House, and a ticket to the performance of 1797: A Mariner’s Revenge.

1797: A Mariner’s Revenge - a unique, site-specific show featuring booming sea shanties, puppetry and stunning theatre that is sure to leave audiences amazed. This unique show fuses physical theatre, puppetry, and booming sea shanties to immerse the audience in a preposterous struggle for revenge.

Written by HistoryRiot’s Mark Knightley, directed by Briony O’Callaghan, and produced in partnership with the Old Royal Naval College, this new theatrical experience is set in the never-before-opened attic rooms at the top of the historic Admiral’s House, perched imposingly on the banks of the Thames.

Note: This is a promenade performance and comfortable footwear is recommended (no heels or open-toe shoes).

Running time: 1 hour 10 Minutes (no interval)

* Not recommended for children under the age of 15.

* Due to the historic nature of the buildings, these shows are not accessible to wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. Access to the show is by three flights of stairs.
