A programme of talks, panel discussions, and workshops, followed by a Loudspeaker Orchestra Concert

About

A programme of talks, panel discussions, and workshops, followed by a Loudspeaker Orchestra Concert.

Sonic Spheres transforms Woolwich Works into a living, resonant environment where multiple spherical loudspeaker arrays animate the space with fully immersive 3D sound. Audiences are invited into an extraordinary encounter with sound in space - a world where listening becomes physical, spatial, and deeply embodied - inviting audiences to listen in entirely new ways.

Conference:
Leading artists, technologists, and researchers present talks, panels, and hands-on workshops exploring the forefront of immersive audio. From 3D composition and sound architecture to psychoacoustics and spatial perception, the programme examines how sound shapes the way we sense, move through, and understand the world.

Concert:
The concert will include a selection of world premieres, and works specifically composed for the IKO loudspeaker(s).
