Friends enjoying oysters and Bloody Marys at a trendy Greenwich riverside spot overlooking the London skyline

About

Looking for unique things to do in London this August?

Join the Oystercatcher this August for a special National Oyster Day celebration as they partner with Absolut Vodka to bring you an unforgettable oyster and Bloody Mary masterclass in the heart of Greenwich, followed by an evening of riverside drinks and DJ sets.

During this interactive experience, you'll learn how to shuck oysters like a pro while discovering what makes different oyster varieties unique. The team will guide you through the history, sourcing and tasting of oysters, sharing expert techniques and insider knowledge used by the trade.

You'll also step behind the bar for a hands-on Bloody Mary masterclass, where you'll learn how to build and balance the perfect Bloody Mary using Absolut Tabasco Vodka. From creating your own signature mix and sauces to preparing garnishes, you'll leave with the skills to recreate this iconic cocktail at home.

Your ticket includes an oyster shucking workshop, oyster tasting, a Bloody Mary masterclass, hands-on cocktail making and expert guidance throughout.

After the workshop, keep the celebrations going on the riverside terrace with great music, summer drinks and DJ sets, making this one of Greenwich's standout food and drink events of the summer.
