About
Start your Sunday with a gentle, restorative walk through Greenwich Park, combining mindful movement, breathwork and time in nature.
Rest & Recharge is an informal and welcoming session designed to help you slow down, breathe and reconnect with yourself, others and the natural world. No previous mindfulness experience is needed — simply come as you are.
This isn’t a hike or a walk focused on distance. Instead, expect a slow, mostly silent stroll with plenty of opportunities to pause, notice your surroundings and settle into the moment. Along the way, you’ll be guided through simple practices including mindful walking, breath awareness, gentle movement and sensory connection with nature.
Greenwich Park provides the perfect setting, with sweeping views across the horizon, ancient sweet chestnut trees, generous oaks, birdsong and plenty of curious squirrels. It’s an opportunity to step away from the pace and distractions of everyday life, put down the screens and enjoy a slower rhythm.
At the heart of the session is a simple invitation: come as you are. Nature doesn’t ask us to be productive, polished or perfect. It simply offers a space to pause, feel more present and leave feeling calmer and more restored.
Afterwards
There’s an open invite after the session for anyone who'd like to continue the connection at the Pavilion Café after the session. It's a lovely spot with a view, with toilets and picnic tables. There’s no obligation to buy anything.
Your Guide
Kathi has been working in the impact sector for many years, across governments, frontline work, research, grantmaking, and now consulting. She spent the last year following her curiosity and exploring different practices for self-care, and sharing her best-of selection with family and friends, and now she's excited to share them with the wider impact community. She comes to this as a curious practitioner and life long learner, not as someone who has all the answers.
