An evening of fascinating talks that will take you on a historic journey of queer resilience, brilliance and imagination. 

Celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month with an evening of online queer history talks, hosted by the National Maritime Museum.

The National Maritime Museum is delighted to host the national festival of OUTing the Past, dedicated to the celebration of queer history.

Programme:
6:30pm - Welcome from the National Maritime Museum
6:35pm - Unlearning Orientalism through Indigenous Two-Spirit Dance by Cas Bradbeer
6:55pm - Passing the Baton: Queer Writers of Colour Celebrate their Historic Icons by Adam Lowe, Maya Chowdhry, Dorothea Smartt, Seni Seneviratne
7:30pm - Break
7:40pm - Passing the Baton - Continued
8:15pm - Writing Ourselves Back Into History: the place of queer historical fiction by Jay Taverner (i.e. Jacky Bratton and Jane Traies)
8:35pm - Thanks and goodbye from the National Maritime Museum
