About

NYJO Under 18s is a Woolwich Works-based Saturday programme for talented young jazz musicians aged 11-18, offering training, ensemble-playing, performance opportunities and jams to develop technique and creativity. And to have fun too! We're here to support our young people's learning and progress no matter what their goals are, or what level of experience they have when they join. On Saturday 12th July you can see young people from NYJO Under 18s Ensemble, and brand-new First Collective, who will be sharing the result of all their hard work over the last year. You will get see young musicians who are right at the start of their musical journey, all the way up to talented Grade 8+ players who are about to go on and study music at University. Join in for this joyful celebration of music-making at all levels!
