About

Two silent horror classics with brand-new live music!
Both films are presented as a double-bill with brand-new live music composed and performed by Chris Green on a variety of acoustic and electronic instruments.

Notable as the first cinematic interpretation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, Nosferatu's (1922) combination of expressionistic acting and unforgettable images render it just as powerful and unsettling today as when it first thrilled cinema goers over 100 years ago.

Made in the aftermath of the First World War, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) is the quintessential German Expressionist film masterpiece. Robert Wiene's distorted sets, sinister shadows and unnerving characters creating a paranoid, unreal world at a time of despair throughout Europe.
