Join in for an afternoon of family friendly performances, workshops, games and community fun at the Maryon Park Picnic 2023!

This year’s exciting event is hosted by André Bright. The line-up includes:

The Mary Lou Revue – Bandstand Cabaret
Time: 1:00pm 
A celebration of swing, jazz, big band, vintage Hollywood musicals and vaudeville.

Jive Dance Workshop with BBC Strictly Come Dancing’s Joanne Clifton
Time: 2:00pm 
Learn to jive with one of the best dance teachers around!

Costa Rica in the UK
Time: 2:30pm 
A beautiful display of Costa Rican culture. Get ready to join in!

Utopia Cheer
Time: 3:00pm 
Energetic cheerleading involving stunts, gymnastics and dance.

Beeja Dance
Time: 3:10pm 
Joyful Bollywood dance.

Feet Off the Ground – Creature Comforts
Time: 3:30pm 
A family friendly outdoor dance performance featuring a mysterious four-legged creature.

GD Collective
Time: 4:10pm 
Greenwich Dance’s performance company.

School of SOS
Time: 4:15pm 
A group of empowered women ‘bossing’ the stage to pop and R’n’B.

Firefly Fitness UK
Time: 4:20pm 
Local instructor Tatiana puts us through our funky dancehall paces.

TARU Arts
Time: 4:30pm 
Brazilian drumming, mask making and a grand finale parade for all to take part in!

Plus games, ice cream, face painting, a second-hand uniform shop from Windrush Primary School, a book swap with St Thomas Tuesday Group, a treasure hunt led by Friends of Maryon Park, a stall by The Village Green Grocers, a bar run by The Green Goddess pub, info sessions with the Metropolitan Police Youth Engagement Team, football fun from Charlton Athletic and a raffle!
