Join Greenwich Dance for Lindy Hop Social Night at Assembly Rooms, Charlton House – a new event where you can learn a few moves from a live dance teacher and then party the night away!

Lindy Hop is a vibrant social dance form with a rich cultural African American Jazz Dance history starting in the dance halls of Harlem, New York City and the historic Savoy Ballroom.

Come along on your own or with a few friends and learn some steps from professional Lindy Hop dancers Temujin Gill, Wendy Steatham and Sunanda Biswas in a welcoming environment.  We will also be joined by live musicians  – The Fliss Gorst Band, to help us dance the night away!

With cakes and soft refreshments available too, what’s not to love!

Dress code: Wear something comfortable to move in.

The event is free, but you must book your place to attend.

* Funded by the Royal Borough of Greenwich for Black History 365
