Come and celebrate the spirit of youth and community with us at Greenwich Park this July!

About

This July, come and celebrate the spirit of youth and community with Greenwich Park!

As part of the vibrant 'Summer in the Park' series, produced by the Arts Trust, we are excited to host a special family festival that shines a spotlight on our young people and the ground-breaking Greenwich Park Revealed project.

This two-day extravaganza is more than just a festival; it's a community gathering where families can enjoy a plethora of activities, performances, and workshops, all designed to entertain, educate, and inspire our youth. From interactive art installations to live music and dance performances, there's something to captivate every member of the family.

Programme:

Saturday 13th July, 10:30am - 8:00pm (NOTE: Following the regular summer Tango and Tai Chi sessions in the morning (which is aimed more at adults/older audiences) – this will be a full day of music events, activities and workshops, designed with and for young people)

Sunday 14th July, 9:30am - 4:00pm (NOTE: this morning will be more gentle, with a ceilidh/folk feel and events focused more for children and families)

The festival also serves as a showcase for the Greenwich Park Revealed project. This ambitious four-year initiative, with a £12 million investment, aims to rejuvenate Greenwich Park by revealing, restoring, protecting, and sharing its unique heritage for present and future generations. Attendees will get a first-hand look at the various completed projects across the park.

Additionally, the festival will highlight the park’s role within the Greenwich Maritime World Heritage Site, offering educational insights into its historical significance and natural beauty. Expect a weekend filled with discovery and fun, set against the backdrop of one of London’s most iconic parks.

By Arts Trust in partnership with The Royal Parks, as part of Greenwich Park Revealed, with support from the National Lottery Heritage fund and National Lottery Community Fund.
