About

The Greenwich Dog Show is back – and it’s set to be bigger, better, and more tail-waggingly fun than ever before!

Come along to the Old Royal Naval College Grounds for a spectacular celebration of all things canine. This year, there will be an expanded competition, more paw-some prizes, and an exciting marketplace packed with everything a dog (or their human) could wish for – from gourmet pet bakeries and boutique pet hotels to canine fertility clinics and specialist retailers.

All dogs, big and small, well-behaved or wonderfully mischievous, are welcome to join in the fun! Places are limited with 30 dogs per class, so don’t miss out your chance to participate.

* All profits and proceeds from this event will go to Greenwich Foundation for the Old Royal Naval College to conserve and protect the beautiful site for future generations of humans and pups. Thank you to our sponsor Virtue Vets for supporting this year’s dog show.

This year, the Old Royal Naval College is celebrating the Painted Hall’s 300th anniversary.  The Best Baroque category is a nod to this, as the Painted Hall – often cited as the UK’s Sistine Chapel – remains one of the finest examples of Baroque interiors in the UK. Please note, we do not encourage the dressing up of dogs in costumes.

Dog Welfare
The Old Royal Naval College is proud to host the Greenwich Dog Show, now in its fourth year. It has become a much-loved part of the programme, bringing together residents, families, visitors and their dogs for a fun and inclusive day out.

We understand that on a hot day some people may have concerns, and we want to reassure everyone that animal welfare is central to how the event is planned and managed.

The wellbeing of every dog attending is our top priority. There is ample shade across the site, fresh water is available in prominent locations and will be replenished throughout the day, and dog-friendly refreshments are available from stallholders. We also have vets on site, alongside first aid provision for people, to help ensure the day is safe, comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.

Additionally, there is a dedicated space with the London House of Wellbeing, inviting visitors to explore preventative and holistic health in a relaxed and engaging setting. While the Old Brewery, our dog-friendly on-site pub, is a welcoming place for owners and their dogs to take a break during the day.

All activities are entirely optional and always at the owner’s discretion, and our team will continue to monitor conditions closely throughout the event. If at any point we believe the weather or any activity could affect animal welfare, we will take immediate action.

Healthy Dog Wellbeing Area
A standout feature  of the Greenwich Dog Show 2026, this dedicated space celebrates the vital link between human and canine wellbeing.

Designed as a premium, experience-led environment, the area invites visitors to explore preventative and holistic health in a relaxed and engaging setting. On-the-day health testing for owners, delivered by qualified professionals, offers immediate personal insights in a non-clinical atmosphere.

A programme of expert-led talks will run throughout the day, covering mental wellbeing, nutrition, longevity and the evolving relationship between owner and dog health. Selected sessions will be delivered in partnership with the London House of Wellbeing.

Complementary wellbeing content for dogs will focus on behaviour, movement and nutrition, bringing the shared wellbeing ethos to life.

Dog Friendly Foodie Fun
The Old Brewery  is a dog-friendly on-site pub, is ready to welcome you and your furry friends over a cappuccino and puppaccino.
