Explore the gargoyles of Charlton House this Halloween, see how many you can find in the spooky garden trail and even craft your own!

About

Gargoyles are scary looking statues on buildings! Legend has it that they come to life at night to fend off evil spirits and other harmful creatures. Some are used as drains to take water away from the building, while others are used for decoration and are often made to look like humans, animals or even monsters.

Charlton House has its own gargoyles. How many will you find and what will you learn about them?

Join Charlton House this Halloween to explore the house's gargoyles, then see how many you can find in the fun, spooky garden trail. You'll even get to make your own gargoyle to take home to hang up for Halloween!

For this event, each session will last 1hr 30mins. The first hour will be exploring the house's gargoyles and crafting your own to take home; followed by an hour to take part in our gargoyle garden trail.
