Time: Roaming encounters between 10:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-3:30pm, with static performances in the Dry Berth at 11:30am and 2:30pm
Meet colourful characters from Cutty Sark’s past and hear stories about life at sea. You can meet ship cook James Robson on Saturday and Sunday, and find out about life along London's docks from dockworkers on Monday.

Rainbow Crew (17th February)
Time: 11:00am-1:00pm and 2:00-4:00pm
Venue: Dry Berth
How do your favourite colours represent you?
Colours and textiles have always carried important messages about who we are and who we stand with.

For LGBTQ+ History Month, this workshop celebrates the people who used textiles to express identity, pride and belonging across maritime history.

Families will create their own peg-doll crew using wooden pegs, fabric scraps, ribbons and every shade of the rainbow, whilst exploring stories of LGBTQ+ figures connected to Greenwich and the sea.
* Drop-in session

Sea of Words (18th February)
Time: 11:00am-1:00pm and 2:00-4:00pm
Venue: Dry Berth
How do your favourite colours represent you?
Think of yourself as a ship out at sea - what adventures have you been on?

Create your own personally inspired artwork in this mixed media workshop, which shows how you’ve proudly shown up in the world.

Use collage, typography, graffiti and your imagination to celebrate and express what makes you who you are.

Stained Glass Icons (19th February)
Time: 11:00am-1:00pm and 2:00-4:00pm
Venue: Dry Berth
How do your favourite colours represent you?
Who are your LGBTQ+ nautical icons, and what would they look like in bright, transparent colours?

Using the evocative stained glass panels on the Baltic Exchange Memorial Glass in the National Maritime Museum as inspiration, create your own nautical icons in rainbow coloured ‘stained glass’.

We'll use paper and cellophane in this crafting workshop, where you can commemorate and celebrate using plenty of inspiration provided.
