Join archivist Pauline Watson in this interactive genealogy taster

About

Curious about your family history? Join Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust archivist Pauline Watson in this interactive genealogy taster.

Over two hours, Pauline will guide you through key starter resources, including online databases and original documents, as well as the tools to find them. She’ll also highlight key trouble points and how to navigate them, featuring true stories and adventures from her own genealogical journeys.

There will be a half-hour tea and coffee break in the middle of the session.

Pauline Watson has worked in the libraries and archives sector for over 20 years and has a keen interest in social history. She specialises in family history research, and is currently in the process of cataloguing the archive to provide a useful resource for family and house history researchers. Pauline enjoys helping both the public and businesses with their research and enquiries, with institutions seeking her expertise including the Royal Borough of Greenwich and TV's Who Do You Think You Are.
