About

An interactive screening of the classic Studio Ghibli film ideal for children aged 4+ and their grown-ups who team up to become the magical orchestra.

Imagine going to the cinema and becoming part of a pop-up orchestra who create sound FX and a musical soundtrack! We start with a warm-up climb into the forest canopy using our hands and voices before kids and grown-ups team up with instruments - turtle drums, lyre harp, zaphir chimes, gong, bird flutes and ocarinas - to create a live score with live FX to five much-loved scenes from Studio Ghibli’s My Neighbour Totoro. You will follow two sisters who move to a house in the country with a mysterious giant tree, their adventures with “Totoro” creatures (large and small) and not forgetting a strange and wonderful cat-bus!
