Catch the UK Garage icon plus some very special guests

About

Legendary DJ and BBC radio host, DJ Spoony will be at Woolwich Works for the very first time, and he's bringing his unparalleled record collection and some very special guests along with him.

Spoony has been a professional DJ at the forefront of UK music for over 20 years. First influenced by reggae, calypso, pop and his early love of soul, he went on to play an integral part in the garage sound that took the UK by storm in the 90s and beyond.

As part of production and DJ trio the Dreem Teem, Spoony appeared in the national charts and in club-land all over the world, then went on to have radio shows on Kiss FM, Galaxy FM, BBC Radio 1 and he’s currently hosting his weekly show - The Good Groove - every Friday night on BBC Radio 2

For old-school and recent UK Garage devotees alike, be prepared to be taken back to one of club culture's most timeless genres and the era it defined.

Featuring very special guests - original UKG artists MC Ranking & MC Creed.
