This special event, 'Crypt Open Day - VE Day Celebration' is part of the 80th Anniversary Commemoration Service held at St Alfege Church on Thursday 8th May. A Service Commemoration and Thanksgiving on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the declaration of Victory in Europe on 8th May 1945, hosted by St Alfege Church and Greenwich Ecumenical Borough Deans with Civic Leaders and Royal British Legion Branches.

Peer into the crypt's vaults and imagine how these would have looked 200 years ago. Discover spaces usually closed to the public and hear about the colourful lives of those who served and worshipped in this amazing space.

FREE Admission, donations welcome. Drop-in, no booking required.
