Join the Old Royal Naval College for a BSL tour of the Blood & Battle immersive exhibition, which explores the fascinating and sometimes grisly life and work of renowned 19th-century naval surgeon and physician, Sir William Beatty. Find out more about the exhibition.

This special tour will be lead by BSL Guide and Lecturer, Alan Murray.

The tour includes: 
- BSL-led tour of the exhibition Blood and Battle 
- Admission to ‘Battle Theatre’ – a multi-sensory immersive experience set in the cockpit of HMS Victory at the battle of Trafalgar, where William Beatty is dealing with a succession of casualties (visuals subtitled) 
- Informative talk in British Sign Language about William Beatty and Admiral Horatio Nelson
- Tea & coffee in the Clore Learning Centre
- A short session in the Skittle Alley, where you can have a go at playing skittles and learn a little more about its this space as part of the Hospital 

NOTE: This tour is for British Sign Language users and will not be interpreted into spoken English. Parental discretion advised. This exhibition is not recommended for children aged 10 or younger. Companions and children under 16 go free.​​​​​​
