A dramatic and thrilling show showcasing the art of Japanese Taiko drumming from the group formed in Greenwich in 2001 and who 'drum' the London Marathon runners in the area every year.

With powerful percussion as well as some more hauntingly beautiful music in the mix, this is a performance with a variety of different styles, a real musical journey for the audience to enjoy.

Taiko Meantime were founded in Greenwich (hence the name!) in 2001 and have performed in theatres all over the world (including Japan), the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, are are regulars at Glastonbury and WOMAD festivals and also ‘drum’ the runners through the Greenwich/Woolwich part of the London Marathon every year.
