In this workshop, learn how to transform an epoxy resin creation into a beautifully finished piece.

About

Discover how to transform an epoxy resin creation into a beautifully finished piece at The Rivershop's Beginners Epoxy Resin Finishing Course. This hands-on workshop teaches you how to refine your work and create two unique resin and timber coasters.

During this 2.5-hour session, you'll learn how to flatten, sand, polish, and cut your resin board into two coasters. With guidance from our experienced instructor, you'll gain practical experience using professional woodworking equipment, including sanders, drum machinery, router tables, and chop saws. You'll also learn essential techniques for achieving a smooth, professional-quality finish.

Whether you're continuing your resin journey or working with a ready-made resin board, this workshop helps you develop skills for future projects, such as river tables, live-edge artwork, furniture, and epoxy resin coatings. You'll learn the fundamentals of resin finishing and how to bring out the natural beauty of timber and coloured resin.

All necessary tools and equipment are provided, along with expert guidance throughout the session. We recommend wearing old clothes, as sanding can get messy, and closed-toe shoes are required for safety.
