Photographer Hugh Fox exhibits A Year in the Life at the Old Royal Naval College

About

A photography exhibition celebrating the people and places of the Old Royal Naval College.

For the last twelve months, award-winning photographer Hugh Fox has been documenting the Old Royal Naval College, capturing the passing of time through the interactions of visitors with the space. Hugh’s distinct style has allowed him to create a comprehensive body of work that depicts the beauty of this familiar landmark in a different way.

This exhibition, which will be presented in the Ripley Tunnel, will bring together a selection of twelve photographs, including portraits of staff alongside brief interviews and soundscapes, inviting visitors to learn more about the work that takes place behind-the-scenes to protect and conserve the heritage of the site.

The audio-visual experience will celebrate the Old Royal Naval College more than just a historical landscape; as a living entity constantly evolving and thriving through its interactions and activities of the public. Throughout the run of the exhibition, visitors will also be able to buy a range of signed prints and postcards at our shops.

NOTE: To make the most of your visit, visitors are encouraged to bring their own headphones.
