A Shakespearean classic, reinvented with wit, mischief, and theatrical mayhem

About

A Shakespearean classic, reinvented with wit, mischief, and theatrical mayhem.

Four Forty Theatre bring their signature blend of irreverence, sharp humour, and imaginative staging to A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Over the course of one enchanted night, lovers lose their way, fairies clash, and an enthusiastic but ill‑fated band of players rehearse themselves into trouble.

Known for inventive storytelling, quick‑fire character changes, and a joyful approach to Shakespeare, Four Forty Theatre breathe new life into one of his most beloved comedies. The result is part affectionate tribute and part bold reimagining. Clever, lively, and full of playful energy, this is A Midsummer Night’s Dream with spirit turned up and imagination let loose.
