About

The Fan Museum's spring exhibition A Focus on Paris is now open.

This exhibition aims to present a picture of Paris as a cultural hub of inventiveness and entrepreneurship. The diverse themes showcasing French fans from the 18th to the early 20th centuries shine a light on 18th century fan craftsmanship and on 19th century fan painters as well as depicting Paris as a city at the cutting edge of architectural, aviation and fashion development. The turmoil of the end of the 18th century and the more peaceful social revolution of the 1920s are also highlighted.
