Meet the aunties, the fearless and fabulous women we all recognise; armed with harsh judgements, unfiltered opinions and secrets of their own

About

Meet the aunties, the fearless and fabulous women we all recognise; armed with harsh judgements, unfiltered opinions and secrets of their own.

Through a dynamic blend of theatre, dance, poetry and music, this performance explores the tension between cultural expectations and modern identity. Expect laughter, jaw-dropping movement and moments that hit close to home. Featuring Black cultural dance styles in a fusion of street dance, hip hop and African dance, The Aunties: House of Masks isn't just a performance – it's a celebration of resilience, identity and the unspoken truths hiding behind the smiles at family gatherings.
