My Boy's Blood By Mercy Theatre Collective (PG)
“My Boy’s Blood” is a compelling and thought-provoking exploration of loss, resilience, and the ripple effects of knife crime. Combining verbatim theatre, spoken word, and live music, this powerful production tells the story of a grieving mother who lost her son to a knife attack in 2006.  Through her words, shared in interviews and audio recordings, her story is interwoven with the performer’s own experiences of growing up in communities affected by violence and knife crime. “My Boy’s Blood” creates a deeply personal and honest portrayal of the lives impacted by knife crime.  With just one performer and one musician, this intimate and impactful show invites audiences to confront the devastating consequences of violence and reflect on the changes needed in our communities. “My Boy’s Blood” is an interactive, immersive story that demands to be heard.

Tethered By Amy Whitrod Brown, Presented by Unchained Theatre
'Did your 7 year old self ever imagine this?'

'Mine didn't. But if she saw this she'd be like, woah! Happy!'

ONE and TWO are happy. Ridiculously so. But when TWO realises she might be capable of loving more than one person, their relationship cracks open, and both women are forced to decide between their own needs and the relationship they thought would be their 'forever'.

Unchained Theatre is back to bring you Tethered, a Queer two-hander, exploring polyamory, motherhood, and grief. It asks if there is only one way to love, or if the way most of us have been taught is only one colour of the rainbow.

Tethered is a new one-act comedic drama with some movement elements, club lights and pulsing music.
