Final Farewell is a moving evocation of pandemic loss, love and resilience, told in four poignant audio stories

About

A moving evocation of pandemic loss, love and resilience, told in four poignant audio stories.

Each of the stories has been carefully crafted by writer Sudha Bhuchar, who has spoken and listened in depth to real people’s memories and accounts of their loved ones who were lost during the pandemic.

As you wander through the Isle of Dogs guided by a map, you’ll hear the imagined voices and stories of Shahin, Baby Han, Ann and Oberon, before gathering at a final installation in Island Gardens, where you will be able to reflect on your own memories.

Duration: 76 minutes

Note:
Audience members are asked to bring their own phones and headphones. Mp3 players will be provided for those without their own equipment on a first come first served basis. Mp3 players cannot be pre-booked.
