The health and safety of visitors and staff is of paramount importance to us all and we want to share with you ongoing advice and activity related to COVID-19 (also known as coronavirus) to ensure that you enjoy your visit to Greenwich.
Both Visit Greenwich and our partner businesses are continually revising policies in line with the latest advice, which includes increased cleanliness and hygiene procedures, including the availability of hand sanitiser in the Tourist Information Centre.
If you have any specific questions regarding an attraction, experience or accommodation in the area there are more details on how to contact businesses directly at visitgreenwich.org.uk
The World Health Organisation has issued the following advice:
“If you are not in an area where COVID-19 is spreading, or if you have not travelled from one of those areas or have not been in close contact with someone who has and is feeling unwell, your chances of getting it are currently low.”
Guidance on prevention measures, which includes ensuring the the washing of hands regularly, covering your mouth/nose with tissues when coughing or sneezing, etc can be found here or here.
We do hope this has alleviated any concerns you have, and we hope that you do visit our Tourist Information Centre when you arrive in Greenwich. Our expert tourism team are on hand to make sure you get the most out of your experience.
