Greenwich Tourist Information desk is in the Visitor Centre at the Old Royal Naval College.

Get information and advice about what to see and where to go in Greenwich, London and across the UK.  Pick up a visitor map and get online with free wi-fi.

Get help arranging a place to stay in Greenwich.  We also provide up-to-date information about disabled access accommodation.

There’s a wide range of maps and guides including cycling and walking maps plus a selection of local newspapers and magazines.

Greenwich Tourist Information desk is open every day (except 24, 25, 26 December) 10am – 5pm.

Advice when visiting

The health and safety of visitors and staff is of paramount importance to us all and we want to share with you ongoing advice and activity related to COVID-19 (also known as coronavirus) to ensure that you enjoy your visit to Greenwich.

Both Visit Greenwich and our partner businesses are continually revising policies in line with the latest advice, which includes increased cleanliness and hygiene procedures, including the availability of hand sanitiser in the Tourist Information Centre.

The World Health Organisation has issued the following advice:

“If you are not in an area where COVID-19 is spreading, or if you have not travelled from one of those areas or have not been in close contact with someone who has and is feeling unwell, your chances of getting it are currently low.”

Guidance on prevention measures, which includes ensuring the the washing of hands regularly, covering your mouth/nose with tissues when coughing or sneezing, etc can be found here or here.

You can buy tickets for Guided walks around Greenwich that leave the Visitor Centre every day at 12:00pm with Greenwich Tour Guides.  There are also half and full day walks with Greenwich Royal Tours.

Left Luggage
Leave your bags somewhere safe and secure

There’s a left luggage facility at the Tourist Information desk.  It costs £5.00 per item for up to 3 hours, £8.00 per item for up to 24 hours and £10.00 per item for each additional 24 hours period.  Luggage is accessible during opening hours only.
