The IFS Cloud Cable Car is one of the most spectacular ways to see London. Rising 90m above the River Thames, connecting the Royal Docks to the dynamic delights of Greenwich Peninsula, it’s also the centrepiece of a perfect London day out, at any time of the year! Check out this itinerary to make the most of the UK’s first and only urban cable car, and the wealth of dining, shopping, sights and activities it affords.

Morning

Get to the IFS Cloud Cable Car’s Royal Docks station early to beat the queues and welcome the rising sun. Open from 7am Monday to Friday, 8am on Saturday and 9am on Sunday and bank holidays, the Cable Car is idea for early risers. The ten-minute trip, soundtracked by the astonished gasps of passengers watching the sun rise over the Thames Barrier, ends at the Greenwich Peninsula station and the London Cable Car Experience. Get your selfies made into souvenirs in the gift shop and enjoy the free immersive exhibition on offer. To take the fun further, buy a VR Experience or Teddy workshop for the kids.
