About

Urban Village Fete Turns 10!

10 YEARS. 1 UNMISSABLE CELEBRATION

This year marks the Fete's 10-year anniversary. For the last decade, this unique festival has brough together music, culture and community at a destination like none other, Greenwich Peninsula. Festivalgoers can expect a jam-packed programme of creative giants and up-and-coming talent including 8 incredible performances from the likes of headliner international DJ Gilles Peterson, panel talks from BBC Radio London’s Robert Elms, 42 hands-on workshops and 30 of London’s best food producers. This is one party your readers won’t want to miss!

The 10th birthday bash line-up includes something for everyone:

Music and performances: Get ready for an unforgettable soundtrack with world-renowned headliner Gilles Peterson returning for a special set alongside Touching Bass, DJ Jack Hemingway, London Soul Choir, Charity Shop DJ and much more.

Creative Conversations: Friend of the Fete, Robert Elms, whose BBC Radio London show has given a voice to Londoners for three decades, hosts some of the city’s most compelling minds at Design District.
Family Fun: Groove into festival mode with Beats and Braids by award-winning stylist Stanley Watts or catch the Incredibly Clever Canine Circus for dog tricks galore! Kids can unleash their creativity at Art Workshops, while everyone can compete in quirky fun like the Wonky Veg Show or Jon Hicks’ entertaining Allympics.

Sports and Wellness: Connect with new and old friends in a workout alongside others at Gather’s group workouts, yoga, breathwork, and strength challenges, or learn to skateboard with Keep Rolling Project. Don’t miss the chance to try Wheelchair Basketball with Brixton Ballers on London’s only rooftop court, or unwind with a soothing massage or reflexology session from Heilsa Therapies.
