Summer Sessions bursts open with our Jazz Weekender, promising a vibrant weekend from an eclectic range of musicians

About

Jazz Weekender, featuring Women in Jazz and Clonmell Jazz Social. Relax with a drink and soak up some spectacular live jazz sets.

Women in Jazz will be launching the Summer Sessions on Saturday 18th June celebrating the creative force of female jazz musicians. Women have always played an integral role in shaping the history of Jazz, yet represent only 5% of instrumentalists in Jazz UK. Women in Jazz exist to celebrate and showcase the music and stories of women, to inspire the next generation of talent.

Jazz weekender veterans Clonmell Jazz Social host the stage on Sunday 19th June, bringing a range of established artists and rising stars. Led by jazz impresario Harry Christelis, expect high energy improvisation from a diverse range of musicians throughout the afternoon.

Design District Canteen will be hosting their very own after party at with Brixton Radio.
