Fashion at Firepit will be led by Silja Manninen—a fashion designer and an educator with extensive experience in the industry. She has taught at renowned institutions, leading and lecturing on fashion focused programmes in higher and further education as well as adult learners.Silja’s teaching style is both accessible and inspiring, blending the formal principles of art and design with a deep understanding of garment construction and textiles. With her warm and welcoming approach, she will be hosting monthly fashion illustration sessions at Firepit—an opportunity to explore new skills, refine existing techniques, and immerse yourself in the creative process.
