ARTicles – Black Art Show: Black History Month Edition brings visual art, music, creativity and community together for a special celebration of contemporary Black culture.

Hosted at Firepit Art Gallery and Studios CIC, ARTicles is designed to offer more than a traditional gallery experience. The event creates a lively and informal environment where visitors can discover artists, meet creatives and enjoy an evening shaped by visual culture, music and social connection.

Presented in collaboration with Sip 'N Stroke UK, the Black History Month edition provides a platform for artists whose work reflects a wide range of experiences, ideas and creative styles.

Visual art has long played an important role in documenting Black experiences and challenging how communities are represented. From painting and photography to digital work and mixed media, contemporary Black artists continue to explore identity, history, culture, politics and everyday life in powerful and imaginative ways.

ARTicles creates an opportunity for audiences to encounter this creativity outside more traditional institutional spaces while supporting emerging and independent artists.

Firepit Art Gallery and Studios CIC is a creative hub located in Greenwich Peninsula, London. Dedicated to showcasing innovative and diverse art forms. With a strong commitment to community engagement, Firepit provides a platform for artists from all backgrounds to share their work and connect with audiences. A great space with a gallery, studio spaces and a slightly sunken room, surrounded by wood, with a firepit, where the exhibition will take place.
