You can travel to Greenwich on a traditional red London bus – something the capital city has been famous for since the 1930s.  There are lots of bus routes that run through Greenwich, including the popular 188 from Russell Square, the 199 from Canada Water and the 129 which connects Greenwich with North Greenwich. Please check routes and running times on Transport For London excellent Timetables Page here.

Getting to other parts of Greenwich is easy by bus, and this useful map will help you find your way around.  The cheapest and easiest way to pay for your travel is with an Oyster Card.  You can buy a pre-loaded Visitor Oyster Card here.
