From egg hunts to delicous roasts and crafty family sessions – Greenwich has an overflowing basket full of fun to share this Easter!
Celebrate Easter with a lively mix of egg-cellent family-friendly activities as well as special Easter programmes for both big and small across the borough. Treat yourself to a luxurious Easter Roast brunch with some live music, attend a spring-time arts and crafts fair, or take your little ones to enjoy one of the many Easter holiday activities featuring egg trails, craft workshops and challenges.
With the recent re-opening of Cutty Sark DLR station, getting to Greenwich has never been easier, making your Easter visit even more convenient.
Easter Trails and Egg Hunts

- This year at Charlton House & Gardens the Bunnies are going down a magical rabbit hole into Wonderland. Find the rabbits nestled among the spring flowers. Spot them all and figure out the puzzle to claim an Easter prize.
- This Easter, Greenwich Peninsula will set you off on a playful Easter Art Adventure Trail where you can solve riddles, sketch sculptures, count cable cars, spot hidden details, and snap creative selfies. Complete the challenges and claim sweet surprises along the way.
- Come along to the Eltham Palace and Gardens for a bunny-hopping adventure quest. Follow the Easter Trail, hunt for eggs and answer questions along the way to earn a delicious chocolate reward.
- Drop by the Woodlands Farm Trust for their annual Easter Egg Trail. Find all the hidden Easter Eggs around the farm to claim a delicious chocolate egg prize.

Museums and Markets
- National Maritime Museum has put together some amazing, free activities inspired by the natural world and the Museum’s collection. There will be something different to do every day of the Easter holidays.
- From the 29 March to 10 April, head to the Queen’s House for some egg-citing array of events this Easter. The event programme will be filled with musical storytelling sessions, craft workshops and meetings with actors as historical character.
- Hop into spring at Greenwich Market, where Easter brings a basketful of family fun, colourful décor and plenty of egg-cellent surprises. From a lively childrens entertainer to face painting sessions, the market is the perfect place to spring into the season.

Easter Arts & Crafty Fun
- Aside from the Easter Easter trail, Eltham Palace will host a Spring Fair where local artisans and makers will showcase jewellery, pottery, artwork and more. Outside the Art Deco mansion, plant stallholders will offer a selection of indoor and outdoor plants, garden accessories, and expert advice.
- Take a step back into the regency era by taking a Fan Making Workshop at The Fan Museum. At this workshop, participants will be joined by experienced fan maker, Caroline Allington, for a three-hour session in the Museum on the first Saturday of each month. Each person attending will create two common types of fans.
- Celebrate spring at Woolwich Works by attending one of their Easter Crafternoon specials. Join in for some crafty Easter fun with a different activity for you to enjoy each day. Bouncing bunnies, beautiful bonnets, daffodils and Easter Eggs. This Easter activity will have you hopping with joy!

Springtime Roasts & Easter Treats
- This year, you can enjoy an Easter Roast Brunch with Live Music at the Market Brasserie in the InterContinental London – The O2. Bringing together the comfort of a British classic with the finesse of the Market Brasserie, each guest can choose their preferred roast, served to the table, alongside unlimited trimmings including crisp roast potatoes, golden Yorkshire puddings, cauliflower cheese, seasonal vegetables and proper gravy.
- Join the festivities at Trafalgar Tavern this year for a spot of Spring Sunday Lunch with the best riverside views over Greenwich. Make sure to book online or over the phone to make a reservation.
- A traditional Sunday Roast will be served from midday onwards within the Gastropub at Tudor Barn in Eltham this Easter Sunday. On the same day, the little ones, will be able to enjoy an Easter Egg hunt where each child will receive a mini chocolate bunny upon completion of the hunt.

Mix It Up This Easter
- Head over for a walk to Greenwich Park to see the park come alive after a winter slumber. You can spot a truly breathtaking display of blooming cherry blossoms and various other species such as hellebores, bluebells, azaleas, tulips and roses.
- Spring is the perfect time to visit some adorable farm animals. Charlton’s Maryon Wilson Animal Park is a happy home to domestic animals including ducks, geese, chickens, sheep, goats and pigs. Visitors will find a busy duckpond, an indoor petting area full of small animals and three hard-working ponies who are happy to give rides to people with disabilities at the Riding for the Disables Association in neighbouring Charlton Park. It’s also one of the few spots in London with a deer enclosure that allows you to see fallow deer up close.
