An illuminated flotilla of over a hundred and fifty boats, including Gloriana The Queen’s Rowbarge, will float down the River Thames

About

At dusk, an illuminated flotilla of over a hundred and fifty boats, including Gloriana The Queen’s Rowbarge, will float down the River Thames through central London from Chelsea to Tower Bridge. The boats are individually decorated with white lights, creating a sparkling night time Canaletto scene. The Illuminated River bridges will be given a specially-programmed celebratory sequence of majestically evolving colour and light. The event celebrates HMQ’s Platinum Jubilee and raises funds for the RNLI, supporting the construction of a new lifeboat station at Waterloo Bridge.

* Part of Totally Thames Festival 2022
