The best way to see more of Greenwich is with an experienced and knowledgeable tour guide. Find out about the area’s royal heritage and maritime connections and hear about the Tudor monarchs who made Greenwich their home. Royalty has always had a special place in Greenwich and it still does – the borough became a Royal Borough in 2012.

Or you could ramble around some excellent Greenwich pubs, take a tour of the National Maritime Museum, or book a weekend away with guided tours included. You can even take a tour of the darker side of Greenwich with ghosts and phantoms thrown in.
You can also see a different side of Greenwich on a boat tour. Take a sightseeing cruise along the Thames from central London and hear all about the history of the river and see some of Greenwich’s iconic buildings from the water.

Greenwich is also well known for being a popular film and TV location. Did you know that the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich features in Les Misérables, Pirates of the Caribbean and Thor: The Dark World, to name a few? Netflix have also been busy here shooting several seasons of The Crown and using Ranger’s House in current favourite, Bridgerton! So come and take a tour on a real life film set, and stand where all of your favourite stars have said their famous lines.
