The Tudor Barn is all that remains of the medieval estate built in 1525. Set in 13 acres of award-winning parkland and adjacent to a medieval moat, the estate boasts considerable links to Henry VIII and the Tudor Monarchy and from 1899 became the home of famous children’s writer Edith Nesbit, author of The Railway Children.
Tudor Barn Eltham is the only Tudor Barn in London. The venue boasts beautiful indoor and outdoor event spaces and comes complete with ornate stained-glass windows, original brickwork and beamed ceilings. The history of England’s past resonates throughout the building’s architecture, style and surroundings.
