The AHOY Centre is a charity changing the lives of disadvantaged, disabled and at-risk youths by building life skills through sailing and rowing.
AHOY champions inclusivity and mental health awareness. They offer opportunities for disabled people to participate in activities and courses on an equal level.
They remove the economic barrier for participants in their Apprenticeships, Shipmates and Sailability schemes, offering qualifications and education to children and young adults.
Rowing Challenges on the Thames and the English Channel are run by the charity throughout the year as a means of fundraising.
British Rowing endorsed ‘Go Row – Indoors’ classes are open to the public, Tuesdays and Thursdays in the indoor gym. AHOY also offers popular RYA accredited qualifications to the public with expert training delivered by expert staff.
With panoramic sunsets and river views downstream to Greenwich and across to Canary Wharf and the City, the venue is open to hire. Perfect for weddings, corporate functions, meetings and parties.
